B. Sahakyan and S. Sargsyan partook in the opening ceremony of new school building in Chapar village

On 1 September Presidents of Artsakh Republic and the Republic of Armenia Bako Sahakyan and Serzh Sargsyan partook in a solemn ceremony of opening a new school building in the Chapar village of the Martakert region. Central Information Department of the Office of Artsakh Republic President informs about this. 

President Sahakyan noted the importance of building schools in rural areas considering it pivotal for the development of education.

The Head of the State expressed gratitude to the “Hayastan” All-Armenian Fund and philanthropist Varouzhan Grigoryan for active participation in the realization of this state sponsored project.

Premier Ara Haroutyunyan, high ranking officials from Artsakh and Armenia, representatives from the Diaspora and guests from abroad partook in the event.
