ICRC confirms: Hakob Injighulyan is taken to the third country

Representative of the International Committee Red Cross (ICRC) Yerevan office Valery Yarmak during the conversation with “First Channel” confirmed the information about Armenian captive Hakob Injighulyan’s removal from Azerbaijan to the third country. According to the ICRC representative, on August 26 the Committee was informed that Hakob Injighulyan, Armenian soldier, who was captived by Azerbaijanis on August 7, 2013, is taken to the third country. 

According to Armenpress, the ICRC representatives visited Injighulyan before he had left Azerbaijan and teh process took place according to the Committee rules. The representative also informed that Injighulyan’s family and Armenian authorities were informed about the case immidiately.   

Remind, that Armenian soldier Hakob Injighulyan lost his way and appeared in Azerbaijani territory on August 7, 2013 and was kept in Azerbaijan till August 26, 2014. 

Valery Yarmak did not give any information about Karen Petorsyan’s corpse, Armenian citizen, who was killed in Azerbaijani captivety. His corpse is not returned to his family yet.
