Minister Nalbandian received Canadian Parliamentarian delegation

On August 25 Foreign Minister Edward Nalbadian received Canadian MP’s – Brad Butt, Leon Benoit and Russ Hiebert, as well as Majed El Shafie, head of the One Free World International (OFWI) organization. Press and information department of the Office of Artsakh Republic President informs about this.

Welcoming the guests Minister Nalbandian highly appreciated the contribution of the Canadian MP’s in the development of Armenian-Canadian friendly relations and deepening of bilateral cooperation.
Expressing gratitude for the reception the members of the delegation reassured that they will continue their work towards further enhancing of collaboration between Armenia and Canada.

During the meeting the sides discussed steps towards development of Armenian-Canadian relations and had an exchange of views concerning the events to be organized in the framework of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

Upon the request of the guests Minister Nalbandian briefed on the Armenian approaches towards the resolution of regional and international issues, as well as on the efforts of Armenia and the international community towards the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.
