Iranian official: Nuclear talks could have positive results

Iran and the P5+1(the US, Russia, China, France, Britain and Germany) could reach a final nuclear deal by November 24 if Tehran’s negotiating sides avoid “killing time and bringing up irrelevant issues” in the talks. Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for European and American Affairs Majid Takht-e-Ravanchi announced about this on Monday. Iranian Press TV writes about this.

The Iranian diplomat further reaffirmed the Islamic Republic’s goodwill in its nuclear talks with the six countries, stressing that Tehran will not offer limitless flexibility in the negotiations over its nuclear energy program.

“We have told the other side that there are limits to [Iran’s] flexibility, but we think we could reach results,” the Iranian deputy foreign minister stated.

In July, Tehran and its negotiating partners agreed on the extension of their discussions until November 24 after they failed to resolve their differences on certain key issues before the previous deadline of July 20.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has said it is unlikely that Tehran and the P5+1 will ink a final nuclear deal before the four-month extension period.
