Flow of tourists from Russia to Turkey reduced 5 times

According to the Turkish province of Antalya Culture and Tourism Department this year the number of Russian tourists fell by 5.3 times, as compared to January 2015.

2427 tourists from Russia arrived in Antalya in 2016, and in January 2015, 12870 people, reports “Armenpress” citing the “Ria Novosti.

It is noted that the decline occurred not only at the expense of the Russians.

The total number of tourists fell by 17% last year in the State , reaching from 117.7 thousand to 97.6 thousand.

Thus, the number of tourists is decreased by 47% from Italy, 30% from Belgium and Sweden.

Overall, the number of foreigners who visited Antalya in the first months of 2016, was the lowest in the last 10 years.
