No significant increase in unemployment-Medvedev

The Russian government does not expect a significant increase in unemployment in the country, stated the Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev at the “United Russia” party congress.

According to him, in areas where strain situation of unemployment was spotted additional support was provided by the state last year.

Medvedev assured that the appropriate resources are allocated to the budget for this year.

Moreover, the Prime Minister stressed that the government is to finance the support programs for solving the employment problem.

“Overall, we don’t expect a significant increase in unemployment.

However, maximum active work is required from all of us, ” said Medvedev.
