Zhoghovurd: Debate over two anti-Armenian reports should have been prevented-envoy

Andranik Margaryan, Armenia’s ambassador to Ukraine, has condemned the Armenian legislators’ failure in preventing the debate over the two anti-Armenian reports at the Council of Europe’s Parliamentary Assembly (PACE).

Andranik Margaryan said he knows that only four of the 12 Ukrainian delegates to the Assembly participated in the plenary session that heard the controversial reports by Robert Walter (UK) and Melica Markovic (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

“Instead of blaming the Azerbaijanis for caviar diplomacy, they could have at least prevented the debate over the reports and used other tools to motivate them or talk them out of including the anti-Armenian issues into the agenda.

When things go beyond control, they make diplomats participant in that, laying the entire blame upon them,” said the envoy.
