Armenian Foreign Minister met the ‪EU‬ ‎Parliament‬ Vice-President

On December 19 Foreign Minister ‪Edward Nalbandian‬ received the EU Parliament Vice-President, ‪Ryszard Czarnecki‬. Press service of Armenian President informs about this. 

Welcoming the guest, Minister Nalbandian stressed the importance of the development of comprehensive collaboration with the European Union in accordance with the Armenian – ‪European Union‬ joint statement adopted in the framework of the 2013 ‪‎Vilnius Summit‬.
Expressing his gratitude for the reception Ryszard Czarnecki noted that the European Parliament attaches importance to the strengthening of the EU-‪Armenia‬ cooperation and will continue to promote the efforts in this direction.

The sides touched upon the issues of the Armenian-European Union cooperation, the activities carried out in the framework of ‪‎Eastern Partnership‬ and ‪Euronest‬. In this context the sides stressed the importance of the contribution of the European Union in the reforms implemented in Armenia.

Minister of Armenia and the EU Parliament Vice-President exchanged thoughts over a set of regional and international pressing issues.
